Home / Our Work
Our running programme — scholarships, uniforms and learning materials for students who would otherwise leave school.

Programme
Education is not a privilege — it is the foundation everything else is built on. This programme exists to make sure the first step is never the one a child cannot take.
We provide scholarships, school uniforms and learning materials to students whose families cannot cover them. Support runs across the school year, not as a one-off gesture, and members stay in touch with the family throughout.
How it runs
The process is deliberately simple, so that families can approach us directly and members can account for every rupee.
Schools, teachers and community members tell us about students at risk of dropping out. Families can also approach the society directly.
A member visits the family to understand the situation and confirm what is actually needed — fees, uniform, books, or all three.
Fees are paid to the school and materials handed over directly, so the help reaches the student rather than passing through other hands.
We check in through the year and continue the following year where the need remains. Mentoring carries on after the costs are covered.
What support covers

A complete set, so a child is not visibly marked out in class.
Textbooks, notebooks and materials for the full academic year.
A single contribution puts one student back in class for the year.
